This feature is no longer shown to new tenants, and will be deprecated in June 2022.
Formal packages are the type of packages used to transfer documents from Packages only type projects in Meridian Portal. The list of available reasons for these packages are predefined and may be supplemented with custom issue reasons. You may disable reasons that you do not need. To configure the issue reasons for Project repository type projects, see Manage Package Issue Reasons.
You must be assigned to the Tenant Administrator role to perform this task.
To view or edit the list of issues reasons for formal packages:

On the Meridian Portal Landing page, in the navigation
bar, click the Account Settings icon
. The Account Settings page appears.
- In the menu, click Formal Packages. The Formal Packages - issue reasons page appears and lists the current issue reasons.
To enable or disable issue reasons:
Click the toggle in the Enabled column for the issue reasons that you want to change.

To add a custom issue reason:
- Type a name in the text box next to the Add button and then click Add.
