Configure Autodesk Forge Viewing

Autodesk Forge is a cloud-based (zero install) engineering data viewer that can be used to view Meridian Portal documents. When users click a view icon in Meridian Portal, Autodesk Forge sends a web-viewable rendition file that it has generated from the original document to Portal to display in a new browser window or tab. If the rendition file has not yet been generated by Forge, there may be a delay of up to several minutes while the file is generated.

Using Autodesk Forge may require the purchase of cloud credits from Autodesk, Inc. Credits are only redeemed by Portal when the document is viewed.

1. On the Meridian Portal Landing page, in the navigation bar, click the Account Settings icon . The Account Settings page appears.
2. In the menu, click Forge Configuration. The Forge Configuration page appears.
3. Enter your Forge API Client ID and Forge API Key obtained from Autodesk and then click Save.
