Some of the Meridian Portal built-in properties support lists of standard values from which users can select. By default, these values comply with Process Industry Practices. You can view these properties and edit them to meet your specific requirements.
The properties are one of the following property types:
- Lookup – A simple list of values for the property.
- Hierarchical Lookup – An interdependent (also called cascading) lists of values for multiple properties, for example, the Facility Information property set. Not supported by custom lookup properties.
You must be assigned to the Tenant Administrator role to perform this task.
- On the Meridian PortalLanding page, in the navigation bar, click the Account Settings icon
. The Account Settings page appears.
- In the menu, click Document Properties. The Document Properties list appears and shows the properties that are available in your tenancy.
- Click the Settings icon
of a property with the Property Type of Lookup or Hierarchical Lookup. The Settings dialog box of the property appears and lists the current long-form values (Label) and their corresponding short-form values (Code) in a table.
- View the values of the lookup property as described in the preceding task.
Edit the text in the Label or Code columns of the value that you want to change.
To change the order of the values:
- Use the handle icon
to drag and drop the values into the desired order.
- Use the handle icon
- Click Save. Your changes are saved.
- View the values of the lookup property as described in the first task.
- Click
Add label. A blank row is added to the bottom of the table.
- Type values in the Label (255 chars max) and Code (20 characters max) columns of the new row.
- Click Save. The new value is saved.
- View the values of the lookup property as described in the first task.
- Click the Remove icon
in the row of the value that you want to remove. The value is removed from the table.
- Click Save. Your change is saved.
- View the values of the lookup property as described in the first task.
- In the dialog box toolbar, click the Menu icon
and then click Default Values in the menu that appears. The values are reset to their default text.
- Click Save. Your changes are saved.
