You can delete and undelete documents to which you have access and that are not locked (Status is: For Revision, For Approval, In Review, In Meridian) for you. Users with the Project Owner or Document Controller roles may delete documents in the Released or For Routing states. Users with the Contributor or Contractor role may delete documents in the Draft state.
To delete a document from a project:You must be assigned to the Project Owner, Document Controller, Contributor, or Contractor role (limited to your own documents) to perform this task.
- Open the project that contains the document that you want to delete as described in Opening projects.
Click the Actions icon
of the document that you want to delete and then click Delete document on the menu that appears. A confirmation dialog appears.
OR
View the document's details as described in Viewing and editing document properties.
- On the Properties page, click the Actions icon
of the document that you want to delete and then click Delete document on the menu that appears. A confirmation dialog appears.
- On the Properties page, click the Actions icon
- Click Delete. The document is deleted from the project.
You must be assigned to the Project Owner, Document Controller, Contributor, or Contractor role to perform this task.
- Open the project that contains the document that you want to delete as described in Opening projects.
- Open the package that contains the document that you want to delete as described in Viewing packages or open the Quick Share the documents that you want to download as described in Viewing Quick Shares.
- Click the Delete icon
in the row of the document that you want to delete. A confirmation dialog box appears.
- Click OK. The document is deleted from the package.
- Open the project that contains the documents that you want to delete as described in Opening projects.
- Add the documents to the clipboard that you want to delete as described in Adding documents to the clipboard.
- View the clipboard as described in Viewing the clipboard.
- In the toolbar, click the Actions icon
and then click Delete documents on the menu that appears. A confirmation dialog appears.
- Click Delete. The documents are deleted from the project.
You must be assigned to the Project Owner or Document Controllerrole to perform this task.
- Open the project that contains the documents that you want to undelete as described in Opening projects.
- Find the documents that you want to undelete as described in Finding documents.
- Add the deleted documents to the clipboard as described in Adding documents to the clipboard.
- View the clipboard as described in Viewing the clipboard.
- To undelete one document:
- In the row of the document that you want to undelete, click the Actions icon
and then click Undelete document on the menu that appears. A confirmation dialog appears.
- Click Undelete. The document is restored to the project.
To undelete all documents:
- In the toolbar, click the Actions icon
and then click Undelete documents on the menu that appears. A confirmation dialog appears.
- Click Undelete. The documents are restored to the project.
- In the row of the document that you want to undelete, click the Actions icon
